Shunichi Miyanaga is the President and CEO of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), one of the world’s largest manufacturing and engineering companies. Between 2000 and 2006, he served as President and CEO of Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery, where he led the successful integration of two organizations. In 2011, he was appointed Senior EVP and Head of the Presidential Administration Office, where he spearheaded a business integration that formed Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems. Since June 2, 2015, he has also assumed vice chairmanship of the Japan Business Federation.
Hiroaki Osaki is President of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. (MHIA) Oil & Gas Division, located in Houston, Texas. Prior to this role, he served as President and CEO of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation (MCO) located in Hiroshima, Japan from 2010-2017. Since joining Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 1975 as a mechanical engineer, Mr. Osaki has held various positions including Steam Turbine Application Engineer, Rotating Equipment Expert, and Deputy Head of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Hiroshima Machinery Works.
Paul F. Browning is President and Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Americas (MHPSA), Inc., overseeing all Western Hemisphere business activities. Mr. Browning has extensive global leadership experience in distributed and central power generation, as well as in North American midstream and downstream oil and gas operations. He has also served on the Board of Directors of eSolar, and Fuel Cell Energy. Prior to joining MHPSA, Mr. Browning was President and Chief Executive Officer of Irving Oil Company Limited and President and Chief Executive Officer of the Thermal Products Division of GE Power & Water in Schenectady, New York.
Philippe Kavafyan is the CEO at MHI Vestas Offshore Wind since April 2018. Prior to joining MHI Vestas, he was the Chairman of the Board of Adwen Offshore. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of key positions at Electricité de France, General Electric and AREVA. His experience in the energy sector spans oil & gas, and power generation, including nuclear, gas and wind. Philippe is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines de Paris, and now lives in Denmark with his wife and two children.
Paolo Bertuzzi, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Turboden, is also a Member of the Board of Directors, a position he has held since 2014. Most recently, Dr. Bertuzzi has contributed to the business development of waste heat recovery solutions for gas compressor stations and gas expander. A Turboden shareholder since 1999, he was previously a General Manager responsible for financial and commercial activities coordination. Prior to his career at Turboden, Dr. Bertuzzi was a Professor of risk management at Economia e Commercio, Università di Brescia, from 2001 to 2006. Dr. Bertuzzi holds a degree in business administration from the Università di Brescia and a PhD from Università Cattolica di Milano.
